Mac
Chrome:
Open Chrome. Click Chrome in the top menu, then select Preferences. Then locate the Default Browser option under Settings. Click Make Default to select Google Chrome as your default browser, then confirm which browser you want to use if you are switching from a different default browser.
Internet Explorer is not supported by Mac.
Safari:
Open Safari. Click Safari in the top menu, then Preferences. Under General, you will see the option to set Safari as your default browser, unless it is already your default. Click Set Default, then confirm which browser you want to use if you are switching from a different default browser.
Firefox:
Open Firefox. Click Firefox in the top menu, then Preferences. You will see a “Make Default” button that you can click to set Firefox as your default browser.
Windows
Chrome:
Click the Start Menu at the bottom of your screen. Click the Settings (gear) icon, then click System, then Default apps. At the bottom, under Web browser, click your current browser. Then click “Choose an app” in the window and click “Google Chrome.”
Internet Explorer:
Open Internet Explorer. Click on the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner of the browser window. Select the Programs tab, then “make default.” Select OK, then close the browser.
Safari:
Click the Start Menu at the bottom of your screen. Click the Settings (gear) icon, then click System, then Default apps. At the bottom, under Web browser, click your current browser. Then click “Choose an app” in the window and click “Google Safari.”
Firefox:
Click the Start Menu at the bottom of your screen. Click the Settings (gear) icon, then click System, then Default apps. At the bottom, under Web browser, click your current browser. Then click “Choose an app” in the window and click “Firefox”
