Windows

Chrome:

Open Chrome, then open the website you want to bookmark. Click on the star at the right end of the search bar (where the URL is). From there, a window will populate and ask you to rename & save the bookmark. Make any necessary changes, then click done.

If your bookmark bar isn’t showing, navigate to the menu in the top right corner of the Chrome browser. Click “Bookmarks,” then “Show bookmarks bar.” This will allow your bookmarks to show below the search bar.

You can also save bookmarks to a folder instead of the bookmarks bar. Follow the same process above, but when you are able to edit the bookmark, create/select a folder instead of the bookmarks bar. This creates a library of bookmarks and does not add the bookbar to the bookmark bar.

Internet Explorer:

Open Internet Explorer and then go to the website you want to favorite/bookmark. Click the favorites button (the start) in the top right corner and then click “add to favorites.”

If you are on a website that you want to bookmark, you can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + D to achieve the same.

Edge:

Open Edge, then open the website you want to bookmark (or as Edge calls it, “Favorites”). Click on the star at the right end of the search bar (where the URL is). From there, a window will populate and ask you to rename & save the bookmark. Make any necessary changes, then click done.

If your bookmarks bar isn’t showing, navigate to the menu (three dots) in the top right corner of the Edge browser. Go to “Settings,” then set the Favorites bar to “ON.”

You can also save bookmarks to a folder instead of the bookmarks bar. Follow the same process above, but when you are able to edit the bookmark, create/select a folder instead of the bookmarks bar. This creates a library of bookmarks and does not add the bookbar to the bookmark bar.

Safari:

Safari is no longer supported by Windows. We suggest using a different browser.

Firefox:

Open Firefox, then open the website you want to bookmark (or as Edge calls it, “Favorites”). Click on the star at the right end of the search bar (where the URL is). From there, a window will populate and ask you to rename & save the bookmark. Make any necessary changes, then click done.
